Riley Green (October 18, 1988) is an American country music singer and songwriter, born in Jacksonville, Alabama. Green played quarterback for the Jacksonville State University football team in Division 1 FCS before he became a recording artist. Green also appeared on the CMT show Redneck Island as a contestant. New releases followed his 2013 self-titled EP in 2015, 2016, and 2017. He became a member of the Big Machine Label Family in 2018.
The music video was filmed in October 2018, and the song peaked on Country Airplay. Green released the music video for his second single, "In Love by Now," filmed in Belize in April 2019. The song was written by Rhett Akins, Ben Hayslip, and Marv Green.
Green's debut album, Different 'Round Here, was released on September 20, 2019, and "I Wish Grandpas Never Died" was released as the third single in August 2019. Riley Green won the 2019 New Male Artist of the Year award from the Academy of Country Music. For his 2023 album, Stray Dog, he recorded a duet with Justin Moore.
