Nashville musician Rick Huckaby, or "Huck" as fans know him, is a singer, songwriter, and guitarist. Inspired by artists as diverse as Daryl Hall, Bonnie Raitt, Merle Haggard, Ronnie Millsap, and Keith Whitley, his music is truly original. Huck relocated to Music City in 1996 and, by 1998, had secured the acoustic guitar gig of a lifetime with country music legend Tracy Lawrence.
In memory of their late father, Huck and his brother Andy founded the independent record label and publishing company Head Coach Music in 2007. After much delay, Huck released his critically acclaimed debut album "Call Me Huck" in 2008, followed by the critically acclaimed "Hittin' My Stride" in 2009, and "Pistols & Diamonds" in 2013.
Huck penned two Top 40 hits for other artists while promoting his music on the radio: "Muddy Water" by Trace Adkins and "Beer with Jesus" by Thomas Rhett. Huck has written more than 30 songs for Tracy Lawrence and contributed to many other artists' albums. In addition, he enjoys spending time with his Big Shoes blues band in Nashville.
