REZZ Information

Rezz is the stage name to Isabelle Rezazadeh (March 28, 1995), a Persian-Ukrainian, which is stylized as REZZ. She is from Niagara Falls, Ontario, and is a Canadian record producer and DJ. She was a huge fan of dubstep and got fired from her job for skipping weekends working-hours to attend festivals. Rezz started with her DJ career at the age of 16 and created her music taking inspirations from a Deadmau5 concert.

Rezazadeh began to produce songs from home on a laptop and used to upload them on SoundCloud. “Insurrection” was her release on OWSLA subsidiary, NEST (July 20, 2015). In the same year, she also released music on Mau5trap, a record label by Deadmau5. Her song "Serenity" got featured on We Are Friends, Vol. 4, a compilation album in 2015. “The Silence is Deafening” was the first EP by Rezazadeh on Mau5trap released on January 22, 2016.

Some of the other notable hits by Rezz include Something Wrong Here (hit no.19 on the charts of Billboard Dance), Mass Manipulation (debut full-length album), Certain Kind of Magic, Beyond The Senses, Something Wrong Here (EP), Beyond the Senses (EP), and a few more.
"This is the New Shit," "Without a Trace," "I Could Be Anything," and "Divinity" are some of the remixes done by Rezz. She also produced music videos for her singles such as "Paranoid," "Flying Octopus," "Falling," and a few more.

Mass Manipulation was entitled as “the best Electronic Album of the Year” in the Juno Awards. Rezazadeh was also nominated for the category of “Electronic Album of the Year” for her studio album “Certain Kind of Magic” in Juno Awards (2019).
