Reckless Kelly Information
Reckless Kelly is a country-rock band that was founded in Idaho. In October 1996, the band moved to Austin, Texas. The current lineup of the group includes Willy Braun (guitar and lead vocals), Cody Braun (vocals, fiddle, mandolin, and harmonica), Jay Nazz (drums), Joe Miller (bass guitar), and Ryan Engleman (lead guitar). The band is led by brothers Cody Braun and Willy Braun. Previously, the Brauns toured with their father in a band named Muzzle Braun & the Boys, a Western swing band.
Reckless Kelly has played locally in Austin on the historic Sixth Street; they recorded their first album entitled "Millican." The album was officially released in 1998. Two years later, the band released their following two albums, including Acoustic: Live at Stubb's and The Day. Reckless Kelly has released albums on different record labels throughout their career, including Cold Spring, Valley Entertainment, Sugar Hill Records, Yep Roc Records, and No Big Deal/Red Eye Records.
Reckless Kelly has released two live albums so far in its career, Acoustic: Live at Stubb's on June 6, 2000, and Reckless Kelly Was Here on August 8, 2008. The band has released several notable studio albums so far including Under the Table & Above the Sun (May 13, 2003), Wicked Twisted Road (February 8, 2005), Bulletproof (June 24, 2008), Somewhere in Time (February 9, 2010), Good Luck & True Love (September 13, 2011), and Long Night Moon (September 3, 2013).
