Ravi Information
Kim Won-sik, known by his stage name Ravi, is a South Korean rapper, record producer, singer, songwriter, and CEO of record label GROOVL1N. He is from Seoul and attended Howon University. Ravi’s music is defined as Hip Hop and he is currently a member of the South Korean boy group VIXX and its sub-unit VIXX LR.
Ravi was one of the ten trainees who were contestants in a survival reality show named MyDOL by Mnet. He was one of the six contestants selected to be part of the final line-up of the new boy group named VIXX. The band debuted with the single entitled "Super Hero" on May 24, 2012. He also appeared in episode 4 of SBS's television drama entitled The Heirs in 2013.
Ravi collaborated with American artist Chad Future with "Rock the World" in 2014 and appeared in the music video. The next year, he became the contestant of Mnet's television rap competition series Show Me the Money 4. Ravi was also featured in the ballad girl group Melody Day's single named "When It Rains."
[R.EBIRTH] was the first mixtape by Ravi that was released on March 12, 2016. Some of the hit songs included in the mixtape are "Where Should I Go," "OX," "Good Girls," and fourth and final "Move." Ravi debuted as a solo artist with his debut mini-album entitled R.EAL1ZE on January 9, 2017. Some of his other notable albums are El Dorado (February 24, 2020), EP R.OOK BOOK, and Limitless.
