Randy Houser is a nickname given to Shawn Randolph Houser (December 18, 1975). He is an American songwriter and singer. Houser is from Lake, Mississippi. He is a self-taught guitarist and created his very own first band when he was only 10. During his college time, Houser formed the band named 10 lb. Biscuit.
Randy Houser started his official career with songwriting in 2002. "Honky Tonk Badonkadonk" was his first success as a songwriter for which Dallas Davidson and Jamey Johnson accompanied him. He then shifted to performing music and released his first single entitled "Anything Goes," published in May 2008. This song hit the Top 40 in the charts of Billboard Country Music. Following this hit single by Houser, a debut album was released on November 2008 entitled “Anything Goes.” The title track for this album hit Top 20 along with "Boots On," being the second single of the same album that resulted in making into July's Top 10 hit.
