Polkadot Cadaver Information
Polkadot Cadaver is an American band. The current lineup is Todd Smith, Jasan Stepp, Brian White, John Ensminger, and Alex Crowley. Shortly after Dog Fashion Disco's 2007 dissolution, Polkadot Cadaver was born. On November 17, 2007, they began selling their debut album online ahead of its official street date on November 27, 2007. Beating a Dead Horse to Death... Again, a Dog Fashion Disco rarities CD released in 2008, includes two Polkadot Cadaver demos.
Dave Cullen on bass and Scott Radway on drums have been on the road constantly since 2010 in support of Purgatory Dance Party. Polkadot Cadaver's second album, Sex Offender, was released on May 5, 2011, and it debuted at No. 17 on the Billboard New Artist Chart (also known as the Heatseeker's Chart). Although Ensminger still played drums, this album debuted bassist David Cullen (also of Knives Out!). They went on Tour with Wednesday 13, Vampires Everywhere!, and Korpiklaani to promote the album.
After opening for Wayne Static on the road in January 2012, the band hit the road again in April as part of the Fight to Unite Tour in support of Brokencyde and Blood on the Dance Floor. On November 17, 2017, the band dropped their fourth studio album, Get Possessed. The album's release party occurred on November 4, 2017, at Cleveland's The Agora.
