Paul Woolford (1976) is a British DJ and dance music producer. His birthplace is Leeds, Yorkshire. As heard on the underground smash "Erotic Discourse," he also records the names Bobby Peru and Special Request.
Woolford, adopted as a baby, lived in Leeds with his adoptive brother Mark. Inspired by the club's Back to Basics night, Paul decided to move in permanently. Beginning in 2008, he regularly performed at the Sunday night We Love Space party held at Space on Ibiza. In addition to his residency, he is also the owner of the record label Intimacy and regularly undertakes tour commitments as a guest performer.
Woolford's "Looking for Me," a 2020 collaboration with American DJ and producer Diplo and featuring vocals by American vocalist Kareen Lomax, was a smash hit. The single was a huge success, reaching number one in Ireland and peaking at number four in the United Kingdom. You Already Know, Looking for Me, Tear It Up, All I Want, Heat, Promises, and Teardrops are just a few of the hit tracks from the album.
