Patrick Lamb, a saxophonist, and singer with a frenetic dual career as an artist and sideman, has touched the lives of hundreds of millions of people since landing his first touring gig straight out of college with Grammy-winning singer Diane Schuur. After touring for many years (both domestically and internationally) with such pop and current jazz legends as Bobby Caldwell, Gino Vannelli, and Jeff Lorber Fusion, he finally decided to try his hand at becoming a solo recording artist and has since gone on to release five albums, three of which reached the Top 5 on the Billboard album list.
Soul Ties (2018), which features the Top 20 single "Homebrew," has been streamed over 300,000 times on Spotify. "Tailgate," also from Soul Ties (2018), has been streamed over 420,000 times. His song "Limitless," released in 2016, has been heard by nearly 600,000. From his album, It's All Right Now (2013), the single "Maceo!" (a homage to Maceo Parker) peaked at position two on the Billboard Hot 100. The musician, originally from Mississippi but now residing in Portland, was awarded the Independent Spirit Award by his adopted community for being one of the youngest musicians ever admitted into the Oregon Music Hall of Fame.
