Of his fifteen songs that have peaked on Billboard Hot Country Songs, "Wave on Wave" (No. 3) from his gold-certified album ranks best.
The title single of Green's second major-label album, Wave on Wave, peaked at No. 39 on the Billboard Hot 100, propelling the artist to even greater heights. Though "Wave on Wave" has been Green's highest-charting single, Green has had consistent releases and performing activity since. From 1995 until 2015, Green put out ten studio albums overall. Pat Green still astounds audiences with humor and Texas culture, both with a consistent work ethic and musical sensibilities reminiscent of Robert Earl Keen and Willie Nelson.
Dancehall Dreamin': A Tribute to Pat Green was released on April 5, 2018, Green's 46th birthday. The CD covers ten Pat Green songs and includes comments on every song. He released the single "Friday's Comin'" globally on July 20, 2018. Green debuted his first album in seven years on September 2, 2022, "Miles and Miles of You," under Dwight A. Baker's production.
