Jahron Anthony Brathwaite (July 3, 1993) is a Canadian R&B vocalist, songwriter, and record producer who goes by the stage name PartyNextDoor. As an imprint of Warner Records, Drake's 2013 record company, OVO Sound, signed him before any other artist. In July of that year, Brathwaite's self-titled extended play was published to mostly excellent reviews.
Released the following year, PartyNextDoor Two (2014), his second studio album, was backed by the single "Recognize" (with Drake) that went double platinum at the RIAA. "Come and See Me" (with Drake) and "Not Nice" were his first songs to appear on the Canadian Hot 100 and the Billboard Hot 100, respectively, off his 2016 album PartyNextDoor 3, which had even more success and peaked at no. Three on the Billboard 200. His third studio album, Partymobile (2020), also did well commercially, and its lead singles, "Loyal" (featuring Drake) and "Believe It" (featuring Rihanna), helped propel it to the top of the charts.
Brathwaite has been quite active in the music industry outside of recording, both as a producer and songwriter. His credits include the 2016 Billboard Hot 100 number one hit "Work" by Rihanna and the 2017 number two single "Wild Thoughts" by DJ Khaled. Additionally, Brathwaite has been a part of the production teams for other artist's albums, including those of Usher, Ne-Yo, Kanye West, Justine Skye, City Girls, Christina Aguilera, Jay Park, and Post Malone. The solo track "Resentment" was released by Party on July 7, 2023.
