Parish County Line Information
Parish County Line is an American country music band that is based in Baton Rouge, Los Angeles. The group was formed in 2012 when Derek Shipley of Centreville, Mississippi, met Travis Hood of Denham Springs, Los Angeles. The two decided to bring 90s country music back to South Louisiana. This was the main reason they collaborated intensely, and a few days later, they formed Parish County Line to pursue their dream at its best.
The Parish County Line was instantly created, and the two began adding more members to the group. This includes Ross Pitcher (St. Francisville, Los Angeles) on guitar, and in 2015, PCL was joined by Trent Ciaccio from Baton Rouge, Los Angeles, on drums. Zach Stephens later joined the band on steel guitar at the end of 2017. His addition completed the “True Country” sound that the PCL had been looking for for so long.
In 2017, The Parish County Line released its first self-titled EP in the summer. Since then, the group has taken the Baton Rouge music scene by storm. Things kept changing drastically for the Parish County Line, and they eventually signed a record deal with their official sponsor, Bud Light. In 2019, PCL released its second EP entitled, Blame It on Jones EP.
