Pan-Pot is a German techno duo. The duo consists of Tassilo Ippenberger and Thomas Benedix. Pan-Pot has established itself in the current techno scene since their inception in 2005, gaining recognition with the release of their debut album, Pan-O-Rama. Their discography is classified as underground music that is not restricted to any particular genre, primarily spanning techno and house with experimental elements and IDM influences.
The team is credited for creating live sets with vocals that reveal a profound awareness of the dancefloor requirements of clubs and festivals. In 2005, the duo engaged Anja Schneider for one of their concerts, which allowed them to form a positive relationship with her then-nascent Mobilee label. After a few weeks, the label released their second record, "Copy and Paste," Pan-formal Pot's debut.
Pan-career Pot's was cemented in 2007, when their maiden artist album, Pan-O-Rama, was released. Hits like "Charly" and "Captain My Captain" cemented the artists' reputation for blending melodic and simple techno and house. Pan-Pot launched the Second State imprint in 2014, signing Amelie Lens and embarking on a new phase in their career.
