Odonis Odonis Information
Odonis Odonis is a Canadian electronic and industrial music group. The current lineup of the band consists of Dean Tzenos and Denholm Whale. They’re most known for their 2014 album Hard Boiled Soft Boiled, a Polaris Music Prize longlist finalist. After Dean Tzenos departed Ten Kens, he formed Odonis Odonis, which comprised Jarod Gibson and Denholm Whale.
Odonis Odonis produced a series of tracks for their album Hard Boiled Soft Boiled in 2009 but released a different material in 2011 as their debut album Hollandaze. In January 2012, that album debuted on the !earshot campus and Community National Top 50 Albums chart. In 2014, Hard Boiled Soft Boiled was finally released.
Post Plague, Odonis Odonis’ third album, was released in 2016. Felte released the compact disc version, Telephone Explosion Records released the vinyl version, and Geertruida released the compact cassette tape version. No Pop, the band’s fourth album, was released in 2017. The record received an 8.1 rating from Pitchfork.
