Noah Nicholas Reid (May 29, 1987) is a Canadian musician and actor. He is from Toronto, Ontario. Reid got involved in theater from an early age being the son of visual artists. He used to attend productions with his family throughout his childhood. Reid graduated in 2008 by Etobicoke School of the Arts and later National Theatre School of Canada.
The official career of Reid began as a child actor when he provided the voice of the popular character in Franklin, Tommy Settegren (1997's Pippi Longstocking). He also co-starred in Strange Days at Blake Holsey High. Reid also provided the voice for animated series Jane and the Dragon as Gunther and in Marvin The Tap-Dancing Horse as Eddie. Some of the hit characters voiced by him are Little Bear, Redwall, Tales from the Cryptkeeper, Timothy Goes to School, Mythic Warriors: Guardians of the Legend, and many more.
Reid also appeared in countless films and series performing major roles. Some of the most popular ones are In Love and War 1996, The Treehouse Club, The Secret of NIMH 2: Timmy to the Rescue, Soul Food, Degrassi: The Next Generation, Three Inches, Disappearance at Clifton Hill, and the list goes on. He also played many guest roles on TV such as police drama Rookie Blue (2012), drama series Cracked (2013), the CW web series Backpackers, and a few more.
Reid was nominated for ACTRA Award 2011 for his work in Score: A Hockey Musical (Outstanding Performance – Male), Canadian Screen Awards 2016 and 2018 for his work in song People Hold On (Song: People Hold On) and Schitt's Creek, Dorian Awards 2019, and Screen Actors Guild Awards 2019. He won the ACTRA Award 2019 for the category of Members' Choice Series Ensemble and Canadian Screen Awards 2019 for Best Supporting or Guest Actor, Comedy.
