Nick Shoulders is a famous American country and honky-tonk musician. He is originally from Fayetteville but currently resides in New Orleans. Shoulders has a band named Nick Shoulders and the Okay Crawdad. The group performs old-time country and honky-tonk music that features the mouth trumpet, yodels, whistling, and more. According to Saving Country Music, Shoulders is one of the most unique and gifted vocal acrobats of roots music for his generation.
Shoulders released his debut album entitled “Lonely Like Me” in 2018. In 2019, his next studio album entitled “Okay, Crawdad” was released with his group. The album was released digitally by Shoulders in late December. Shoulders combines his unique brand of Arkansas honkabilly with the style of Slim Whiteman’s quivering country ballads. He has been periodically touring for months at a time since 2014.
Shoulders tours with Moose, his dog while busking all around the United States as a one-person band. He has performed with notable contemporaries, including CW Stoneking of Australia, Esther Rose, The Deslondes, and Sam Doores. Shoulders’ music has been featured in a CR Fashion short film starring notable stars such as Naomi Campbell, Cher, and Kim Kardashian.
