Nick Hakim Information
Nicholas Hakim is an American musician. He was born in Washington, D.C. He is known as one of the great musicians of all time. Various musical influences surrounded hakim. He was invited by his friend to sing with the church choir, where he got the chance to learn the piano at the young age of 17.
Hakim was lucky enough that he got accepted to attend Boston’s Berklee College of Music. During this period, he released 2014’s two-part EPs named “Where Will We Go.” In 2017 after releasing “Green Twins” through ATO Records, Hakim toured internationally.
The album got much appreciation from media channels, including “Pitchfork” and “The Guardian .” The album was counted as one of the Ten Best R&B Albums of 2017 by NPR. One of the tracks from the album was highlighted in one of the episodes of HBO’S comedy-drama Insecure. The next year Nick came up with original music for HBO’s comedy television series “Random Acts of Flyness,” directed by Terence Nance. Hakim also performed on NPR’s Tiny Desk Concerts in 2018.
Hakim released his studio album “Will This Make Me Good” in 2020. Along with Erykah Badu, the American singer and songwriter, he collaborated on the live concert series named “Too Sensitive,” happening in September 2020. Hakim also presents a remixed version of “Will This Make Me Good “in 2021. It includes BadBadNotGood, Slauson Malone, Pink Siifu, and more.
