Nathan Kane Tyrone Carter (May 28, 1990) is an English country music singer and musician from Liverpool. His music is defined as country and pop. Carter attended Bishop Eton School in Allerton, Liverpool, and began playing the accordion at four years old. At ten, he won the All Ireland Title for Traditional Singing. Carter relocated to Ireland when he turned 18 and is currently based in the UK.
Carter started his official career in 2007 with the release of his debut album entitled Starting Out. Two years later, he was associated with Irish singer-songwriter John Farry who helped Carter develop his country music. Carter was launched to stardom with the release of his "Wagon Wheel" version. The song was released on June 15, 2012, and included in the album entitled the same.
Where I Wanna Be was the next studio album by Carter, released in August 2013. It was followed by Beautiful Life in 2015. Both albums were hits topping the Irish Albums Chart. Beautiful Life At Christmas was a reissue of his previous releases Christmas Stuff and Beautiful Life, released in 2015. Some of his other notable albums are Stayin' Up All Night (2016), Livin' the Dream (2017), Born for the Road (2018), and Irish Heartland (2019). Carter also appeared on TG4's Opry an Iúir in September 2012 as the featured artist.
