Major League Soccer will see Minnesota United FC play its ninth season in 2024. On February 24, 2024, they played Austin FC in Austin, Texas, to start their season. The team's current home field is Allianz Field in Saint Paul, Minnesota. The team named Eric Ramsay as the new head coach in February.
Interim head coach Cameron Knowles oversaw the first three games of the season before Ramsay was hired for the season of 2024. May saw Minnesota United announce that fullback Derek Dodson would be loaned to Birmingham Legion FC of the USL Championship for the 2024 campaign.
