Midland Information
Midland is an American country music group. The current lineup includes Mark Wystrach, Jess Carson, and Cameron Duddy. Dripping Springs, Texas, is the birthplace of the band Midland. Each band member had previously played with the other two in various bands in Los Angeles. By 2015, "Fourteen Gears" by Midland has been the group's debut single.
They signed with Big Machine Records on March 9, 2016, and their debut single, "Drinkin' Problem," debuted on Billboard's Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay charts on April 5. The Midland EP, which included the track, was released on April 9. The album's second single, "Cheatin' Songs," was released by Midland in 2019. In August, the album Let It Roll was released. A tour in promotion of the record kicked off in June. Midland introduced three varieties of its house brand of tequila, inslito, in February 2020.
The documentary film about Midland's formation centers on the band's 2014 recording session in a studio called "The Sonic Ranch," the same name as the band's March 2021 album. The Last Resort, Midland's newest extended play, was released on July 16, 2021, and peaked at 47 on the Billboard Album Sales Chart. On May 6, 2022, the band issued their third studio album, The Last Resort: Greetings From, their follow-up to the EP.
