Michigan Rattlers Information
Michigan Rattlers is an American rock band that was founded by lifelong friends. The band’s current lineup consists of Christian Wilder (piano), Adam Reed (upright bass), and Graham Young (guitar). The group members had begun performing and writing music together when they were in high school. The band’s hometown is Petoskey, Michigan, but nowadays, they are located in Los Angeles, California. It was hard for the group to continue playing music in their small hometown, which is the reason for the move.
Michigan Rattlers regularly played in every café, bar, and stage in their hometown. A few years later, Young and Reed moved and settled in Los Angeles. They recorded a short demo and began playing locally. The demo eventually was found by the super-producer, Johnny K, which became a turning point for their musical career.
The group enjoyed a massive summer tour in 2018. They have made appearances at Bonnaroo, Firefly, and Electric Forest. The band has even received positive acclaim by No Depression, Bluegrass Situation, Rolling Stone, and The B3 Science. Michigan Rattlers released their first full-length album entitled “Evergreen” on September 28, 2018.
