In addition to school ensemble concerts and performances by honor choirs, all-state bands, and orchestras, the Michigan Music Conference also includes sessions for in-service and pre-service teachers, professional development clinics, hands-on technology workshops, and association membership and business meetings. There will be roughly 9,000 persons present, including teachers, administrators, students, lecturers, and guests.
The mission of the Michigan Music Conference is to enhance music education through relevant professional development and exciting musical experiences, which will be provided to educators and the students they teach.
