Michael Ray Information
Michael Ray Roach (April 29, 1988) is an American country music singer and songwriter born in Eustis, Florida. Roach was inspired by his grandfather Amos “Wilson” Roach. He used to play music for his grandson and also taught him how to play the guitar. Roach chose to form a band in southern Florida after completing graduation from high school. In 2010, he independently released an album that was discovered later on by manager Tony Conway.
Roach was mentored professionally by Big & Rich’s John Rich on the singing competition, The Next: Fame is At Your Doorstep. He ended up winning the competition. Rich and Roach both co-wrote a notable single in 2015 entitled “Run Away with You.” Roach signed a record deal with Warner Bros. Records Nashville after winning the competition. He released his debut single on the label entitled “Kiss You in the Morning”—the single reached number one on the Country Airplay charts in 2015.
Roach accounted for two more singles in the albums named “Think a Little Less” and “Real Men Love Jesus.” Roach released his second album entitled “Amos” in 2018. It consisted of three singles named “Her World or Mine,” “One That Got Away,” and “Get to You.” Both of Roach’s albums were produced by Scott Hendricks.
