Meirlin Information
MEIRLIN, originally from Tokyo, Japan, is a DJ and music producer located in Los Angeles. At three, she was given her first classical piano lesson. She moved to Los Angeles in 2014 for a career as a DJ and music producer, hoping to find new creative challenges and inspiration.
Exchange LA, Academy, Belasco LA, Project LA, Heat OC, Mansion OC, and many more prestigious Los Angeles, Orange County, San Francisco, and San Diego venues have hosted her since. She has also appeared as a featured performer at 'Hatsune Miku'(Vocaloid DIVA)' EXPO (2014) and 'Anime EXPO' (2017) thanks to her participation in several conventions. Her dynamic and distinctive mixing styles bring the house down. She specializes in trap, future bass, dubstep, and house.
DallasK, DJ Carisma, Che'nelle, Cy Kosis, and more have graced her stage, and she is now a regular at Avalon Hollywood, Los Globos, and Joseph Nightclub. In addition, she has taken her career global by performing at important events and venues in countries like Belgium, Mexico, and Japan, including the Cube Art Festival Brussels, ELE Tokyo, and Club Asia.
She's been putting in more time recently to making her music and remixes. 'MOMOTARO' was her debut song, released in the winter of 2017. 'MOMOTARO(Peach Boy)' is the title of a Japanese fairytale that features prominently in the Kawaii (cute) aesthetic that permeates this song.
