Marauda Information
MARAUDA is a dubstep and bass music producer from Sydney, Australia, who is 19 years old. Never Say Die Records, Disciple Records, Bassrush Records, Slugz Tracks, Busted Records, and his label Malignant Music have all released music on him.
Prasad updated his Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter accounts with banner and profile photographs that reflected the makeover (although the URLs have not been changed at the time of writing). He likely did so to prevent confusion with an Atlanta-based metal band of the same name.
Mastodon's social media profiles suggest that the Australian dubstep producer has undergone a considerable transformation. For the foreseeable future, Hamish Prasad will perform under the stage name Marauda.
The Malignant EP, released under the Never Say Die imprint in 2017, was Prasad's first release under the Mastadon moniker. In comparison, the metal band named after his project was founded in 2000.
Prasad has yet to reveal the title of his first album under the Marauda moniker. On August 9th, he will play at îleSoniq in Montreal, Quebec, as part of his ongoing tour.
