Magic Sword Information
Magic Sword is an American electronic trio from Boise, Idaho. The current lineup of the group consists of The Weaver (yellow, drums), The Seer (blue, guitar), and The Keeper (red, keyboard, audio-visual). Magic Sword performances are popular as all the members wear masks and cloaks while performing on the stage, so they don’t reveal their bodies or faces. The band was formed in 2013, and that same year, Magic Sword released their debut full-length album entitled, Magic Sword Vol. 1, through Tender Loving Empire.
Magic Sword also released a comic book of the same name as the album’s release. The trio came up with their debut EP entitled, Legend in 2016. The EP was released through Size Records. In September, the same year, Magic Sword went on their first national headlining tour. The band continued touring in January 2018 with Ceegix, Nite, and Mr. Kitty.
Magic Sword’s two hit songs, “The Way Home” and “In The Face Of Evil,” have been featured in the video game Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number. The single “In The Face Of Evil” was also featured on the official trailer of the movie Thor: Ragnarok. Magic Sword signed a record deal with Joyful Noise Recordings and released its debut EP on the label in 2019 entitled Awakening. Soon after the release of their EP, the trio came up with their second full-length studio album, Endless.
