Magic Giant Information
Magic Giant is an American alt-rock band. The current lineup consists of Zang, Ambricki Li, and Austin Li. In the early months of 2014, Austin Bisnow and Zambricki Li, who collaborated on the composition, were inspired to establish Magic Giant after watching a video of Zang salsa dancing. Magic Giant debuted live in front of an audience on KEXP's The Morning Show with John Richards in 2015, the same year they published their debut self-titled EP, which featured guest appearances from Rashawn Ross of the Dave Matthews Band and Spencer Ludwig of Capital Cities.
The song "Let It Burn" was hailed as "a summer festival anthem" by NPR. For 2015, Magic Giant has been named an "Artist on the Verge" by New Music Seminar. Macklemore, Banks, Fitz, and the Tantrums are just a few of the musicians who have performed in the past. In 2016, the band performed at sold-out venues and festivals like Electric Forest, Wanderlust, and Lightning in a Bottle.
According to Billboard, the band's live performance "inspires huge dance-along." Presented by radio personality Kat Corbett on KROQ, "Set on Fire" by the trio peaked at no. 4 on Spotify's US Viral 50 and #1 on KROQ's Locals Only. They shared the bill with Mike Posner, Beats Antique, and Eric Hutchinson during their tour.
