Logan Mize is an American country music artist and songwriter from Clearwater, Kansas. He has experienced major success as a songwriter. Mize caught attention as a songwriter after writing a hit song for singer Bucky Covington. He recorded the song “Mexico” on his album entitled “Good Guys.” The track charted at number 43 on Billboard Independent Albums and number 30 on Billboard Country Albums. Mize signed his first record deal with Big Yellow Dog Music in April of 2010 and a booking deal with William Morris Endeavor in August of 2010. He received airplay as a “Highway Find” on the satellite radio channel, The Highway (Sirius XM).
Mize has been featured on TV in the “Fabric of Life,” a Cotton commercial alongside Hayden Panettiere. He has also emerged in the CW series entitled “Hart of Dixie.” The series featured both Mize and his band. He released his debut self-titled album on May 5, 2009. His second studio album entitled “Nobody in Nashville” followed on March 13, 2012. The album was released on Big Yellow Dog Music, reaching number 49 on Billboard Country Albums and number 15 on Billboard Heatseekers Albums.
Mize has opened for several notable headlining acts such as Hank Williams, Stoney LaRue, Blake Shelton, Charlie Daniels Band, Dierks Bentley, Eric Church, Leann Rimes, and The Band Perry. In 2016, he released a single from the same album entitled “Ain’t Always Pretty.” The single received more than 20 million streams on Spotify. Mize released another notable album entitled “Come Back Road” on July 28, 2017.
