Liz Cooper & The Stampede is an American rock band from Nashville, Tennessee. The current lineup of the group consists of Ryan Usher and Liz Cooper.
Liz Cooper spent the entirety of her childhood honing her golf talents before abandoning her college scholarship in 2012 to pursue music in Nashville. Lord Huron, Phosphorescent, Tyler Childers, Houndmouth, Bermuda Triangle, Rayland Baxter, and Deer Tick have all performed at Bottlerock Festival and Austin City Limits Festival, and they've opened for Deer Tick, Rayland Baxter, Bermuda Triangle, Houndmouth, Tyler Childers, Phosphorescent, and Lord Huron. In the summer of 2019, the band will perform at the Newport Folk Festival, Forecastle Festival, and Lockn'.
Liz Cooper and The Stampede has released only a studio album entitled Window Flowers on August 10, 2018. Their EPs include Monsters (June 24, 2014), Live at the Silent Planet (April 1, 2016), Liz Cooper & The Stampede (October 26, 2016), Liz Cooper & The Stampede | Audiotree Far Out (June 16, 2017), Live in Chicago EP (July 12, 2019).
