On his 2021 EP Dance Party, producer Lewis OfMan captures the iconic French sound pioneered by Cerrone, Daft Punk, and Cassius by fusing the stylish sounds of disco, pop, and French house. Lewis OfMan (real name Lewis Delhomme) is a French musician who began his musical career at 12 when he joined his first band.
Delhomme bought his first keyboard the next year and began experimenting with his unique style, which was influenced by the traditional music of French pop. In 2014, he published an independently titled "Disconsolate," Two years later, in 2016, he released another EP titled "Yo Bene." Delhomme's second EP was in the works alongside his work as a remixer for Alt-J and Keziah Jones and a producer on Rejjie Snow's 2017 album Dear Annie.
The same year, he toured with Snow across North America and France as an opening act. He released several singles and an extended play in 2018, one of which was titled "Je pense à toi." Delhomme collaborated with artists like Vendredi Sur Mer and rapper Emile due to the high demand for his distinctive production style. In 2020, he returned to his solo career, releasing a few singles and a remix of Rhye's "Beautiful" before kicking off 2021 with the release of the Dance Party EP.
