Les Trois Accords Information
Les Trois Accords is a rock band that originated from Drummondville, Quebec, Canada. The group was founded in 1997 by Olivier Benoit and Simon Proulx. The current lineup includes Pierre-Luc Boisvert, Charles Dubreuil, Alexandre Parr, and Simon Proulx. Olivier Benoit is a former member of the group.
Gros Mammouth Album was the first album by Les Trois Accords, which was released in 2003. A few of the hit songs included in this are "Saskatchewan," "Hawaïenne," and "Lucille," which received substantial exposure in Quebec. The second studio album by Les Trois Accords was released in 2006 entitled Grand champion international de course (certified Gold by the CRIA).
The track "Lucille" was included in an enhanced podcast - Rouyn-Noranda. The group opened for The Rolling Stones in Moncton, New Brunswick, which was their most prominent show to date (September 2005). Many of the latest songs by the band are classified as surrealist due to frequent use of wordplay, pun, and unusual images.
The lyrics by Les Trois Accords are a throwback to the punk québécois genre of the nineties. A few of the other notable albums by the band are Grand champion international de course (2006), En beau country (2008), Dans mon corps (2009), J'aime ta grand-mère (2012), and Beaucoup de plaisir (2018).
