Kyshona Information
Kyshona is one of the famous American singers. She is well-known for always lending her musical voice to those who feel that they have been forgotten or silenced. At the beginning of her official career, Kyshona worked as a music therapist who wrote songs with her patients, inmates under her care, and students. Kyshona soon realized that she needs to write independently and portray everything in her voice. This endeavor eventually led her to the fertile ground of the songwriting culture and creative community of Nashville. Since that moment, she learned to balance her music career and her passion for healing other's hurt inside.
Kyshona released her LP entitled Listen on February 28, 2020. It was co-produced with Andrija Tokic (Hurray For The Riff Raff, Alabama Shakes, and St. Paul & The Broken Bones). She recorded mostly at his studio in Nashville named The Bomb Shelter. Kyshona blends folk, R&B, rock, and roots with lyrical prowess to enhance the marginalized and bring awareness to the masses. Her music is for all of those who are a heavy load, the lost ones, the forgotten ones, and the silenced ones. She also released a few more healing albums, including Go (2014), The Ride 2.0 (2017), and Rewind (2021), a collaboration album with Wilderwater.
