Kolby Cooper Information
Kolby Cooper was born and raised in Palestine, TX, where he grew up riding shotgun in his dad’s cow truck. This truck was the first place where he discovered the artists that would later turn out to be his biggest musical influences. Those artists include Waylon Jennings, Chris Ledoux, Cross Canadian Ragweed, and more.
Kolby first picked up the guitar when he was only 12 and played his first show at the age of 14. Kolby graduated from Cayuga High School, and four months after his graduation, he was already in the studio working upon his first project, Vol. 1. His music style is defined as being traditional country. He also owns a band with members Berny Herrera on the drum, Brandon Zamorano on bass, Kelly Tindall and JT Sharp on lead guitar, and Kolby himself on lead vocals.
His first project was a five-song EP that had two top 5 singles; “It Ain’t Me” and “Every Single Kiss.” Kolby recently released a brand-new single entitled “Tired,” which reached number 3 on the chart. He is now preparing to release a full-length album that will be in two parts and entitled Good Ones Never Last. The album is expected to include songs about being in love, losing a loved one, and everything you can imagine in-between.
