Kilby Block Party Information
In honor of the anniversary of Kilby Court, Salt Lake City's longest-running, all-ages venue, the Kilby Block Party music festival was initiated. The 25th year of Kilby Court will be in 2024! In keeping with the original intent of this legendary institution, KBP will host performances by local musicians and those from worldwide. Kilby Court's neighboring street, 700 South in downtown Salt Lake City, was the site of the original two festivals.
Longtime pals Young The Giant and Death Cab For Cutie, who both played at Kilby Court when they were starting their careers, headlined KBP1 and KBP2. They relocated to Library Square in 2022 for two sold-out performances with Phoebe Bridgers and Mac DeMarco as headliners. After that, they moved on to Utah State Fairpark with KBP4 to hold the biggest independent music festival that downtown Salt Lake City has ever seen—with headliners like Pavement, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and The Strokes—with an average of around 25,000 people every day.
They can't thank you enough for making the Kilby Block Party what it is, and they hope to see you all again in 2024 at KBP5 to celebrate Kilby Court's 25th birthday! Details and lineup to be announced soon.
