Kevin Fowler Information
Kevin Fowler (May 11, 1966) is an American singer-songwriter from Amarillo, Texas. He was introduced to country music when he was a child by his father. As a young child, he started to take piano lessons. As a teenager, Fowler developed an interest in rock music. Fowler graduated from Tascosa High School in 1984. At the age of 20, he decided that he wanted to pursue a career in music seriously. Fowler moved to Los Angeles, California, and attended the Guitar Institute of Technology, and within a year, he began writing songs and learned how to play guitar.
Fowler worked as a guitarist for the rock band Dangerous Toys in the early 1990s. He soon left the band and created a Southern hard-rock band, Thunderfoot. In 1998, the group earned a weekly gig at Babe's on Sixth Street in Austin. Fowler recorded and released his debut album after two years entitled Beer, Bait & Ammo, which sold over 30,000 copies in Texas. Fowler signed with Equity Music label by country singer Clint Black and released two additional albums.
Some of the notable albums by Fowler are High on the Hog (2002), Live at Billy Bob's Texas (2002), Loose, Loud & Crazy (2004), Bring It On (2007), Chippin' Away (2011), How Country Are Ya? (2014), and Coming To A Honky Tonk Near You (2016). His hit singles are "Ain't Drinkin' Anymore," "Best Mistake I Ever Made," "Pound Sign (#?*!)", and "That Girl."
