Keller Williams is an American musician, singer, and songwriter from Fredericksburg, Virginia. His music is folk, alternative rock, jazz, reggae, rock, jam, progressive bluegrass, dance, and funk. Williams began playing the guitar during his teenage years. He attended Virginia Wesleyan College and received a degree in theater. Williams is primarily known as a solo artist but has toured with many notable acts such as The String Cheese Incident, Umphrey's McGee and Ratdog, and Yonder Mountain String Band.
Williams has performed at many popular festivals, including Summer Camp Music Festival, The Rothbury Festival, Bonnaroo Festival, the AllGood Music Festival, and the Elysian Fields Music Festival. He is praised for Keller Williams Incident, a collaborative performance among The String Cheese Incident and Williams. He also performs with a backing band named "Keller Williams with Moseley Droll and Sipe" often.
Currently, William is working as a radio show host named Keller's Cellar. Some of his other notable albums are Spun (1999), Loop (live) (2001), Home (2003), Dream (2007), Kids (2010) (Children's Album), Bass (2011), Raw (2017), and Add (2019). High Times Presents Rip This Joint – Various Artists (2001) is the only compilation by Williams. He usually performs with a variety of instruments connected to a Boss Loop Station RC-300 phrase looper pedal.
