Kaytranada Information
Louis Kevin Celestin (August 25, 1992), better known as Kaytranada, stylized as KAYTRANADA or KAYTRA, is a Haitian-Canadian music producer, rapper, vocalist, and DJ. Beginning in 2010 under the moniker Kaytradamus, Celestin grew in popularity after releasing mixtapes, remixes, and original music projects.
He debuted his follow-up, Bubba, in 2019 and received two Grammy Awards, including Best Dance/Electronic Album. With his brother Lou Phelps, Celestin is half of the hip-hop team The Celtics. Kaytranada was featured on two songs, "I'm Lying" and "High Grade," of Lancey Foux's album Life in Hell, which leaked on Apple Music on October 13, 2022, and was released on October 28, 2022.
Kaytranada and Aminé debuted "4eva" with Pharrell Williams, the first song of their collaborative album, on April 7, 2023. On May 19, 2023, the two released a combined studio album titled Kaytraminé. The album includes guest rhymes from Pharrell Williams, Freddie Gibbs, Big Sean, Amaarae, and Snoop Dogg. His third solo album, Timeless, hit on June 7, 2024. Among notable collaborators on the record are Childish Gambino, PinkPantheress, Don Toliver, and Ravyn Lenae.
