Jungle Information
Jungle is a British electronic music project established in 2013 by London-based producers Josh Lloyd-Watson and Tom McFarland. When they were nine years old, the duo moved in next door to one another in Shepherd's Bush, London, where they remained close friends till now.
On October 21, 2013, via Chess Club Records, the new song "The Heat" by Jungle was released. The band Jungle was shortlisted for the BBC's Sound of 2014 award in December 2013. In March 2014, the band performed at South by Southwest in Austin, Texas. The band also appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on June 16, 2014; later that month, they performed at the Glastonbury Festival.
In September of the same year, the album "Jungle" was among the finalists for the 2014 Mercury Prize. "Busy Earnin'" also made it to No. 67 on Australia's Triple J Hottest 100 Countdown in 2014.
The band's appearance at the May 2015 Boston Calling Music Festival was confirmed early in the year. A performance by Jungle at the 2015 Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival took place on June 26 on the Other Stage.
By announcing the album's lead song, "Keep Moving," on Annie Mac's BBC Radio 1's Hottest Record on March 23, 2021, the band announced the title of their third studio album, Loving in Stereo, on March 22.
Volcano, the band's fourth studio album, was announced on March 27, 2023, and released on August 11, 2023, via Caiola Records. The band's fourth studio album, Volcano, was accompanied by a music video.
