Jon Wolfe Information
Jon Wolfe is a popular American country music singer and songwriter from Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was raised in Miami, Oklahoma, and grew up as a church singer. Wolfe was initially interested in classic pop music, but he was later introduced to country music by his stepfather. Wolfe’s stepfather was a bass player in a house band along with his friend Joe Don Rooney. During his early professional years, Wolfe used to work in the oil trade in Chicago. In 2003, he was transferred to Houston, Texas, where Hayes Carll was his roommate. After attending an Alabama concert in Texas, he was inspired to become a working musician.
Jon Wolfe was invited on a tour where he sang with John Rich and Teddy Gentry. After settling in Austin, he became a regular Lone Star Honky Tonk circuit performer. Wolfe self-released his debut album entitled Almost Gone in November 2004. He signed a deal with Midas Records Nashville in 2006. A few of his early notable discographies include “She Won’t Be Lonely Long,” “I Can’t Take My Eyes Off You,” and “It All Happened in a Honky Tonk.”
It All Happened in a Honky Tonk (Deluxe Edition) was Wolfe’s third album on January 15, 2013. It was followed by It All Happened Live in a Honky Tonk, from Floore’s Country Store (October 15, 2013), Natural Man (March 31, 2015), and finally Any Night in Texas (June 16, 2017). Some of the hit singles by Wolfe are “Any Night In Texas” 2018, “Baby This and Baby That” 2017, and “Don’t It Feel Good” 2015.
