"After We Play" ft. Peter White is a song by singer and trumpeter Johnny Britt on his upcoming contemporary album. This upcoming album also features Will Downing, with whom Britt sings a duet. Boney James' three number-one Billboard smash singles were written by Britt, who has also written songs for Rick Braun, Paul Brown, Peabo Bryson, The Temptations, Little Anthony, Tom Browne, Ricky Peterson, and others.
To become the co-music producer of the Emmy Award-winning TV miniseries The Temptations, Britt was recruited by Otis Williams as the youngest-ever musical director of the Motown Super Group The Temptations. With his own highly regarded band, Impromp2, Britt signed to Motown/ MoJazz Records and recorded four albums.
As a current member of the iconic singing group Little Anthony and The Imperials, Britt is an honorary member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The Green Book, a recent PBS special that starred Johnny Britt, Howard Hewitt, Darlene Love, and Little Anthony, highlights Britt. Along with coordinating the talent, Britt serves as the assistant musical director. It will premiere in December 2022. On the 2023 Capital Jazz Super Cruise, Britt will perform his critically acclaimed "Marvin Meets Miles" concert.
