Joanne Shaw Taylor (1985, in England) is an English singer and guitarist. At sixteen years old, she was seen by Dave Stewart of the Eurythmics. Billboard's Top Blues Albums charted White Sugar (2009) and Diamonds in the Dirt (2010), two albums released by Ruf Records by Taylor, at No. 8 in the U.S. Joe Bonamassa's Keeping the Blues Alive Records published her No. 1 album, The Blues Album (2021).
Taylor was named the British Blues Awards' Best Female Vocalist in 2010. While performing Diamonds in the Dirt, her song "Same as It Never Was" was named Songwriter of the Year, and she took up the same prize at the 2011 British Blues Awards.
After releasing her No. 1 The Blues Album in 2020, Taylor's 2021 single "If That Ain't a Reason" debuted on the charts via Keeping the Blues Alive Records. In 2022, Joe Bonamassa produced Taylor's Blues from the Heart: Live. Her song "Can't You See What You're Doing to Me" includes Kenny Wayne Shepherd in both the music video and iTunes single.
