Jenny Lewis (January 8, 1976) is an American actress, musician, singer, and songwriter. She was born in Las Vegas, Nevada. Lewis's first major role was in a commercial for Jell-O. She went on to promote various products, including Barbie and Baby Skates from Mattel, Toys "R" Us, a Black & Decker popcorn maker, and Kellogg's Corn Pops. She played one of Lucy's grandchildren on the short-lived Lucille Ball sitcom Life With Lucy, which aired in 1986.

Lewis's solo album for Team Love was prompted by an invitation from Conor Oberst in 2004. Released on January 24, 2006, and described by Lewis as "a kind of soul record," Rabbit Fur Coat also has contributions from Oberst, M. Ward, and James Valentine (guitarist for Maroon 5). Covering "Handle With Care" by The Traveling Wilburys, Ben Gibbard of Death Cab for Cutie is a special guest. The Watson Twins are listed as Jenny Lewis's backing band on the CD.
