Jason Boland Information
Jason Boland (August 31, 1987) is a well-known bassist from Ireland. He is well-known for being the bassist of the Irish indie rock band Kodaline. Kodaline, initially known as 21 Demands, was joined by Boland in early 2012. He, along with his bandmates, released a debut recording entitled The Kodaline EP. He also contributed to the 2013 album In a Perfect World as well as 2015 recording Coming Up for Air. Boland, along with his Kodaline collaborators, recorded a 2014 cover of the Paul McCartney single named “Coming Up.”
Jason Boland is known to be one of the richest bassists in Ireland. He, along with Brad Rice, is a member of the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity. The two met in Stillwater, Oklahoma, during their time at Oklahoma State University. Boland formed a band in 1998, and in 1999, the band released the debut album entitled Pearl Snaps. Later on, this group, Boland and The Stragglers turned out to be one of the most successful artists in the Red Dirt/Texas Country scene.
Jason Boland had co-produced the album Choices for the band Hazzard in 2007. Some of the other discographies released under the Jason Boland & The Stragglers band are Truckstop Diaries, Somewhere in the Middle, Comal County Blue, and Hard Times are Relative.
