Jake Wesley Rogers is an American pop songwriter and musician. He was born in Springfield, Missouri, and grew up in Ozark, Missouri. At six, Rogers learned to play the guitar and started playing piano and voice training when he reached 12 years old. He also started performing in theater productions while in his 5th grade. Rogers wrote songs soon after that. He attended formative concerts for artists such as Nelly Furtado and Lady Gaga at a very young age. At 18, Rogers moved to Nashville to study songwriting at Belmont University.
In 2016, Rogers started releasing music independently. He eventually released his debut EP, Evergreen, in June 2017. In April 2019, he also released his sophomore EP entitled Spiritual. After that, he went on a European tour and performed on BBC Radio 4. Rogers was featured on the Happiest Season soundtrack in November 2020.
Rogers signed a record deal with Warner Bros in May 2021 via Tranter’s Imprint Facet Records. His manager, Lucas Canzona, also got Tranter’s attention in 2019. On October 5, 2021, he made his television debut on The Late Late Show with James Corden, where he performed “Middle of Love.”
