J. Brown Information
J. Brown is a singer and songwriter. He was born in Detroit, Michigan. He started singing in his father's church choir and joined the Detroit-based Mosaic Youth Theatre. It allowed him to perform for former president Bill Clinton and the National Anthems of the Detroit Pistons and Detroit Lions. E2G was founded by Brown, Robert Curry, and two other singers when Brown was still a high school student. They got signed to Clef Records/J Records after performing for Wyclef Jean of the Fugees. When the group finally split up, he seized the chance to enroll in Grambling State University on a full academic scholarship.
The Adult R&B Billboard Charts saw his 2018 single "Sunrise Sunset" reach its highest position at number 10. His 2020 " Moon " song peaked at number 7 in the same classification. Since 2018, he has had tracks debuting on the Billboard Charts every year. Trey Songz, Ruben Studdard, and Lil Boosie used Brown as their opening act. He appeared on stage with Stevie Wonder on October 24, 2019.
John performed his new single "Moon" on Fox 29 in Philadelphia while announcing that his EP would be released on January 24, 2020. He is named the opening act for 2020's Ellevation Tour with Elle Varner. J. Brown served as the opening act for different tours in 2021 for both Nelly and Anthony Hamilton.
