Ivan and Alyosha Information
Ivan & Alyosha is an American rock, indie, folk-pop band. The group is also known as I&A. The current lineup of the band consists of Cole Mauro (drums), Tim Kim (guitar and vocals), Pete Wilson (bass and vocals), Ryan Carbary (guitar and vocals), and Tim Wilson (vocals and guitar). The band was formed in 2007 by Carbary and Wilson. I&A was also recognized nationally in 2009 by NPR during coverage of SXSW.
On March 10, 2009, I&A released its debut EP entitled, The Verse, the Chorus. The EP was produced in Los Angeles, California, by Eli Thompson. The band had not even decided its name at the time. On February 26, 2013, I&A released its debut full-length album entitled, All the Times We Had. The album was released on Dualtone Records. Since 2010, I&A has toured extensively.
Supporting artists who have been with I&A include Needtobreathe, The Lone Bellow, John Vanderslice, Aimee Mann, and Brandi Carlile. The group has also crisscrossed the United States and Canada many times. They have earned a reputation for fun and energetic live performances.
Ivan & Alyosha has released many other records, including Fathers Be Kind (EP) (February 1, 2011), “Rebel Jesus” (single) (December 6, 2011), and The Cabin Sessions (June 19, 2012).
