Home Free Information
Home Free is a country a cappella band from the US consisting of singers Adam Chance, Austin Brown, Rob Lundquist, Tim Foust, and Adam Rupp. The members began as a show group and did about 200 shows annually throughout the US.
Chris Rupp created Home Free in Mankato, Minnesota, in January 2001, when its members were still teenagers. Matt Atwood, Chris Rupp, Adam Rupp, Dan Lemke, and Darren Scruggs were the first five members.
In November 2016, Home Free released Full Of (Even More) Cheer, a rework of their 2014 album, Full of Cheer. The album debuted at #2 on the Top Country Albums Chart with 13,000 copies sold.
The group has regularly updated its YouTube account with new videos since 2009. In May 2020, they revealed they had amassed one million channel subscribers. Many well-known musicians have worked with Home Free.
They sang "Children, Go Where I Send Thee" with Kenny Rogers on his farewell album, Once Again It's Christmas, released in 2015. The Oak Ridge Boys and Home Free recorded an a cappella rendition of their song "Elvira" together in 2015.
