Hanson Information
Hanson is an American pop-rock band. The current lineup comprises Isaac Hanson, Taylor Hanson, and Zac Hanson. Their first album, Middle of Nowhere, was released in 1997 under Mercury/Polygram Records. It featured the hit single "MMMBop" and was nominated for three Grammys. Hanson is most recognized for this song. The youths seen in the music video were 16, 14, and 11 years old when it was shot. Island Def Jam Music Group acquired the group after Mercury Records amalgamated with its sister labels.
Hanson was the first band to compete on The Masked Singer in 2021 when they were a part of the "Russian Dolls" in season five. The year 2022 saw the release of RGB (Red Green Blue), an album. Each of the three brothers—Taylor (the "RED"), Isaac (the "GREEN"), and Zac (the "BLUE")—created a mini-album of five songs that together make up Red Green Blue. From June to November 2022, Hanson embarked on a world tour. In an interview that appeared in the July 18, 2022, issue of People, they discussed their work thus far, family duties, and being on the road. Individual family members' images were also featured in the piece. Hanson and the English band Busted collaborated on a cover of "MMMBop" and released it as "MMMBop 2.0" on May 26, 2023.
