Hadise Information
Hadise Acikgoz (October 22, 1985) is a Belgian-Turkish dancer, television personality, singer, and songwriter. She was born in Mol, Belgium. She entered the Belgian version of "Idol" in 2003 and gained success after the release of her debut album, Sweat, in 2005. Five singles were released from the album, and Hadise was honored with the TMF Award (Belgium) and the Golden Butterfly Award (Turkey) for her efforts.
With the publication of her self-titled album in 2008, Hadise launched and sustained a successful career in both Belgium and Turkey. The album has English and Turkish songs, with the Turkish version of "Deli Olan" becoming a smash hit in the country. Hadise performed "Düm Tek Tek" at the Eurovision Song Contest on behalf of Turkey in 2009. Turkey finished in fourth place with a final score of 177, thanks largely to this song.
Hadise's debut single "Düm Tek Tek" peaked at #1 in Belgium, and she followed that success with the albums Fast Life (2009) and Kahraman (2009). Kahraman's "Evlenmeliyiz" was a top ten smash on Türkçe Top 20. The albums Ask Kaç Beden Giyer? (2011), Tavsiye (2014), and ampiyon (2017) show that she is now concentrating on her career in Turkey.
