Guru Randhawa Information
Guru Randhawa (August 30, 1991) is an Indian music composer, singer, and songwriter. He was born in Noorpur, Gurdaspur, Punjab. He first performed at intimate gatherings in Gurdaspur and later expanded to Delhi. While in Delhi, Randhawa attended business school and earned his MBA. When he performed, rapper Bohemia would abbreviate his entire name to "Guru," and the nickname stuck. In December 2012, Randhawa released his debut single, "Same Girl," featuring Arjun, who was also the first person to include Randhawa in his music video.
Randhawa's debut track, "Chhad Gayi," was released on YouTube and the Speed Records label at the beginning of 2013. To release this album, his older brother Ramneek lent him some money. Soon after, in the fall of 2013, he released the first three singles off his debut album, Page One. Dardan Nu, I Like You, and Southall were the titles of the songs in question.
Bohemia, a fan of Randhawa's, lobbied T-Series to debut the young musician. They later worked together on a song called "Patola." More than 368 million people have listened to this song on YouTube. The best Punjabi duo award went to "Patola," as well. His additional collaborations with Ikka Singh include "Outfit" and "Khat," both of which feature him as a vocalist.
